Chiswick sits between Ealing and the river, and it's priced like it: this is the area people choose when budget is secondary to green space, a good high street and a genuinely residential feel rather than a corporate one. Families on a longer relocation take it for the schools and Chiswick House grounds; professionals take it because Chiswick Park's business estate is on the doorstep and the West End is a direct District line ride away.
It's currently the smallest area on this list by listing count — one building, Taylor Place — which keeps availability tight compared with Ealing or Brentford's wider choice. Transport and getting around

Kew Bridge, a short walk south, is closer to the river and to Kew Gardens if that's more the draw than the high street, and it carries a similar price point. Brentford is the better choice for Golden Mile proximity at a noticeably lower rate, if the office commute matters more than the neighbourhood.
