It's less commercial-feeling than Brentford itself despite the shared employer base: more residential streets, less passing traffic, and a slower pace once you're off the South Western Railway line.
London Square is the larger of the two, with units running up to three bedrooms, which makes it one of the few buildings on the whole corridor genuinely suited to a family of five or six on a longer stay. Fitzroy Gate is smaller and simpler, one- and two-bedroom, and tends to suit a single contractor or a couple more than a family.
Transport and getting around
Isleworth and Syon Lane stations (both South Western Railway) run to Waterloo in around 30–35 minutes. Sky's Isleworth campus is a short walk from either station or the apartments themselves — for anyone working there, this is likely the shortest commute of any area on this corridor.
By road, Brentford's Golden Mile and the M4 are ten minutes away, and Heathrow is about 20 minutes off-peak, making Isleworth one of the closer areas to the airport despite not being an obvious airport choice on paper. Syon Park itself is large enough for a proper walk or run, a genuine amenity for anyone here for weeks rather than days.
Nearby areas
Brentford is the natural alternative for more choice of buildings at a similar commute, and it's worth comparing directly if Sky proximity matters less than having more options to choose from. Kew Bridge, a short drive east, suits a more riverside, leisure-leaning stay at a broadly similar price.
Uxbridge is worth considering if Stockley Park rather than Sky is the actual destination — it's a different, further-out part of the corridor, and the two shouldn't be confused when planning a commute.
